14-3-3 Sigma Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Detection of human 14-3-3 Sigma by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, Jurkat, A-549, and GaMG cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-14-3-3 Sigma antibody (Product # A301-648A) (lot A301-648A-4) used for WB at 0.04 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

14-3-3 Sigma Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — Detection of human 14-3-3 Sigma by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-14-3-3 Sigma antibody (Product # A301-648A) (lot 3). For blotting immunoprecipitated 14-3-3 Sigma, A301-648A was used at 0.04 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 1 second.

This gene encodes a cell cycle checkpoint protein. The encoded protein binds to translation and initiation factors and functions as a regulator of mitotic translation. In response to DNA damage this protein plays a role in preventing DNA errors during mitosis.
