Description: The monoclonal mouse IgG2b is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
Applications Reported: Mouse IgG2b K Isotype Control eFluor® 660 has been reported for use in immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Mouse IgG2b K Isotype Control eFluor® 660 has been tested by flow cytometric analysis. This should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
eFluor® 660 is a replacement for Alexa Fluor® 647. eFluor® 660 emits at 659 nm and is excited with the red laser (633 nm). Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochome.
Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 668 nm; Laser: Red Laser.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG2b is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is also involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the activation of T cells and the inhibition of B cell activation. Mouse IgG2b is widely used in research and diagnostic applications, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry. It is also used in therapeutic applications, such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
