Immunofluorescence staining of Human CD105 in MSC cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with CD105 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (103) (Product # MA5-29234, 1:60) at 37°C 1 hour. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cell membrane.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.

This antibody has specificity for Human Endoglin/CD105.

靶标信息

CD105 or Endoglin is a Type I transmembrane protein, which is highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells. It exists on an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer. Up regulation of endoglin expression has been demonstrated in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, suggesting that it is a proliferation associated endothelial marker. CD105 binds to TGF beta 1 and 3 with high affinity but not to TGF beta 2.
