CD297 Antibody (PA5-114881) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of CD297 in HeLa cells. Samples were treated with PFA, permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked in 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), and incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-114881). Secondary staining was applied with mouse anti-beta tubulin (1 hr at 37°, AlexaFluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (Red), AlexaFluor 488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Green) and DAPI.

This gene encodes a protein that contains a mono-ADP-ribosylation motif. It is a member of the ADP-ribosyltransferase gene family but enzymatic activity has not been demonstrated experimentally. Antigens of the Dombrock blood group system are located on the gene product, which is glycosylphosphatidylinosotol-anchored to the erythrocyte membrane. Allelic variants, some of which lead to adverse transfusion reactions, are known.
