CDK5RAP2 Antibody (PA5-116623) in WB
Western blot analysis of CDK5RAP2 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with CDK5RAP2 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-116623) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Enhanced Kit. Exposure time: 90s.

CDK5RAP2 is a regulator of CDK5 (cyclin-dependent kinase 5) activity. The protein is localized to the centrosome and Golgi complex and interacts with CDK5R1 and pericentrin (PCNT). CDK5RAP2 plays a role in centriole engagement and microtubule nucleation, and has been linked to primary microcephaly and Alzheimer's disease. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
