CSAD Antibody (PA5-97631) in WB
Western Blot analysis of CSAD using a CSAD Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-97631) at a concentration of 12 µg/mL. Positive WB detected in NIH/3T3 whole cell lysate. A secondary Goat polyclonal antibody to rabbit IgG was applied at a 1:10,000 dilution. Observed band size: 56 kDa.

A similar protein in rodents plays a role in multiple biological processes as the rate-limiting enzyme in taurine biosynthesis, catalyzing the decarboxylation of cysteinesulfinate to hypotaurine. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
