CaMKI Antibody (MA5-38075) in WB
Western blot analysis of CaMKI in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with CaMKI Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-38075) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 1 min.

CAMK1 (CaMK1) is a serine/threonine kinase that is a member of the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family. It is involved in cell differentiation, nervous system development, and signal transduction. CAMK1 is expressed in many tissues and is a component of a calmodulin-dependent protein kinase cascade. Calcium/calmodulin directly activates calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase I by binding to the enzyme and indirectly promotes the phosphorylation and synergistic activation of the enzyme by calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase I kinase.
