DNAJB9 Antibody (PA5-142776) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of DNAJB9 in A431 cells using DNAJB9 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-142776). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton, and incubated with the primary antibody for 1hr (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL), showing endoplasmic reticulum and cytoplasmic staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Negative control: Unimmunized goat IgG (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL).

This gene is a member of the J protein family. J proteins function in many cellular processes by regulating the ATPase activity of 70 kDa heat shock proteins. This gene is a member of the type 2 subgroup of DnaJ proteins. The encoded protein is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum. This protein is induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress and plays a role in protecting stressed cells from apoptosis.
