Fibrinogen alpha chain Antibody (MA5-52850) in WB
Western Blot analysis of Fibrinogen alpha. Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with Fibrinogen alpha recombinant monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-52850) with a dilution of 1:5,000, followed by HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody with a dilution of 1:20,000. Image was developed using FeQTM ECL Substrate Kit.

Fibrinogen is a soluble protein found in blood plasma and is produced by the liver cells. The protein is a hexamer consisting of two sets of disulfide linked chains. Fibrinogen is essential for blood coagulation as the precursor of fibrin. It is converted to fibrin by the action of thrombin in the presence of calcium ions.
