Immunohistochemistry analysis of Glutaminase in paraffin-embedded Mouse Skeletal muscle tissue. Samples were incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-119140) at a dilution of 20 µg/mL, followed by HRP-Linked Caprine Anti-Rabbit IgG using a dilution of 2 µg/mL.

It is primarily expressed in the brain and kidney and plays an essential role in generating energy for metabolism, synthesizing neurotransmitter glutamate, and maintaing acid-based balance in the kidney. There are alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants in the Glutaminase gene.
