HOXA7 Antibody (PA5-120187) in WB
Western blot analysis of HOXA7 in THP-1 cells. Samples were incubated with HOXA7 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-120187) using a dilution of 1:800, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 45s.

Hox genes play a fundamental role in the development of the vertebrate central nervous system, heart, axial skeleton, limbs, gut, urogenital tract and external genitalia. HoxA2 protein may contribute to dorsal-ventral patterning and/or to the specification of neuronal phenotype. HoxA7 functions as a potent transcriptional repressor and its action as such requires several domains, including both activator and repressor regions. HoxA7 is expressed in the fetal liver, lung, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas and placenta.
