HUS1B Antibody (PA5-103493) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of HUS1B in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with HUS1B polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103493) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

HUS1Bis most closely related to HUS1, a component of a cell cycle checkpoint protein complex involved in cell cycle arrest in response to DNA damage. HUS1B can interact with the check point protein RAD1 but not with RAD9. Overexpression of HUS1B has been shown to induce cell death, which suggests a related but distinct role of this protein, as compared to the HUS1.
