Immunohistochemistry analysis of IL-7 in paraffin-embedded rat spleen. Samples were incubated with IL-7 Recombinant monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-51491) using a dilution of 1:100 (40x lens). Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Interleukin 7 (IL-7) is a hematopoietic cytokine that is constitutively produced by stromal cells from the bone marrow and thymus. IL-7 signals through the IL-7R to promote the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells to lymphoid precursor cells, which give rise to T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells.
