IVD Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded carcinoma of human thyroid tissue. To expose target proteins, heat-induced epitope retrieval by 10mM citric buffer, pH6.0, 100°C for 10min. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a IVD monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-25246) at a dilution of 1:150.

Isovaleryl-CoA dehydrogenase (IVD) is a mitochondrial matrix enzyme that catalyzes the third step in leucine catabolism. The genetic deficiency of IVD results in an accumulation of isovaleric acid, which is toxic to the central nervous system and leads to isovaleric acidemia.
