Antibody detects endogenous levels of total IFNA4/10/14.
IFNA4 (Interferon Alpha 4) and IFNA14 (Interferon Alpha 14) are predicted to enable cytokine activity and type I interferon receptor binding activity and to be involved in several processes, including B cell activation; lymphocyte activation involved in immune response; and positive regulation of peptidyl-serine phosphorylation of STAT protein. IFNA10 (Interferon Alpha 10) encodes a protein that belongs to the type I interferon family of proteins, and is located in a cluster of alpha interferon genes on chromosome 9. Interferons are small regulatory molecules that function in cell signaling in response to viruses and other pathogens or tumor cells. This gene is intronless and the encoded protein is secreted.
