JMJD2A Antibody (PA5-85519) in WB
Western blot analysis of JMJD2A in HeLa whole cell and nuclear extracts using JMJD2A polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-85519) using 30 µg of sample at a dilution of 1:500. Sample was then incubated with HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody. Prior to incubation with primary antibody, the sample was separated on 7.5% SDS-PAGE.

JMJD2A is a member of the Jumonji domain 2 (JMJD2) family and a protein containing a JmjN domain, a JmjC domain, a JD2H domain, two TUDOR domains, and two PHD-type zinc fingers. This protein functions as a trimethylation-specific demethylase, converting specific trimethylated histone residues to the dimethylated form, and as a transcriptional repressor.
