MYST1 Antibody (MA5-50052) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of HepG2 cell with MYST1 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-50052) at 1:50, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 587-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L).

The MYST family of histone acetyltransferases, which includes MYST1, is named for the founding members MOZ (MYST3), yeast YBF2 and SAS2, and TIP60 (HTATIP). All members of this family contain a MYST region of about 240 amino acids with a canonical acetyl-CoA-binding site and a C2HC-type zinc finger motif. Most MYST proteins also have a chromodomain involved in protein-protein interactions and targeting transcriptional regulators to chromatin.
