Immunocytochemistry analysis of MYST2 in HepG2 cells. Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI; MYST2 recombinant monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-53588) with a dilution of 1:1,000 was stained magenta with Alexa Fluor 647. Images were taken using Leica stellaris 5. Protein abundance based on laser Intensity and smart gain: Medium. Scale bar: 20 μm.

MYST2 Antibody — Antibody specificity was demonstrated by siRNA mediated knockdown of target protein. HeLa cells were transfected with Lysine acetyltransferase 7 shRNA and decrease in signal intensity was observed in Western Blotting using Anti-MYST2 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (23GB2390) (Product # MA5-53588) at a dilution of 1:5,000. This gene encodes a member of the hepatoma-derived growth factor family. The encoded protein has mitogenic and DNA-binding activity and may play a role in cellular proliferation and differentiation. This gene was thought initially to be located on chromosome X, however, that location has been determined to correspond to a related pseudogene. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
