PA1-4517 detects P2Y purinoceptor 2 in human, rat and mouse samples.
PA1-4517 has been successfully used in Western blot and Immunohistochemistry procedures.
PA1-4517 immunogen is a synthetic peptide comprising of internal residues of the human P2Y2 protein. Reacts with rat and mouse P2Y2.
Maintain at 4ºC for 3 months or at -20ºC for longer periods. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
The product of this gene belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors. This family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor is responsive to both adenosine and uridine nucleotides. It may participate in control of the cell cycle of endometrial carcinoma cells. Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
