PAX3 Antibody (PA5-85400) in WB
Western blot was performed using Anti-PAX3 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-85400) and a 55 kDa band corresponding to PAX3 was observed in positive cell line (U-87 MG) and not across negative cell lines (T-47D, MCF7) along with an uncharacterized band across cell lines tested. Nuclear enriched extracts (30 µg lysate) of U-87 MG (Lane 1), T-47D (Lane 2), MCF7 (Lane 3) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 10% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0302BOX). Pax 3 (Paired Box 3) is a transcription factor that is involved in development of the peripheral nervous system, melanocytes, some vascular smooth muscle, and a number of other derivatives. It regulates neurogenesis in pre-migratory neural crest cells from the dorsal neural tube, and in myogenic progenitors in the presomitic mesoderm and the hypaxial somites. Alternative splicing results in isoforms having different C-termini.
