Phospho-GYS1 (Tyr44) Antibody (PA5-105494) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded Phospho-GYS1 (Tyr44) in human liver tissue sections. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with Phospho-GYS1 (Tyr44) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-105494) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

Glycogen Synthase 1 (GYS1) catalyzes the addition of glucose monomers to the growing glycogen molecule through the formation of alpha-1,4-glycoside linkages. Mutations in this gene are associated with muscle glycogen storage disease. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
