Phospho-c-Jun (Thr91) Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of Phospho-c-Jun (Thr91) in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with Phospho-c-Jun (Thr91) Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-117274) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:10,000. Both 293T cells and NIH/3T3 cells were treated by Anisomycin (25 µg/mL) at 37°C for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight. Both 293T cells and NIH/3T3 cells were treated by UV at room temperature for 15-30 minutes. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 180s.

c-Jun is a transcription factor that recognizes and binds to the enhancer heptamer motif 5'-TGA[CG]TCA-3'. It promotes activity of NR5A1 when phosphorylated by HIPK3 leading to increased steroidogenic gene expression upon cAMP signaling pathway stimulation. Involved in activated KRAS-mediated transcriptional activation of USP28 in colorectal cancer (CRC) cells.
