Immunocytochemical analysis of Semaphorin 4C was detected in immersion fixed rat cortical stem cells using Sheep Anti-mouse/Rat Semaphorin 4C Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-47812) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the 557-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (re and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.

SEMA4C (semaphorin-4C), also known as SEMAF, is an 833 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein that contains one sema domain, one PSI domain and one Ig-like C2-type domain. Expressed in a variety of tissues, including lung, kidney and brain, SEMA4C interacts with GIPC and NCDN and is thought to play a role in the formation of neural networks during development.
