SETDB1 Antibody (PA5-30334) in WB
Western blot was performed using Anti-SETDB1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-30334) and a 180 kDa band corresponding to SETDB1 was observed in all tested cell and tissue lysates. This gene encodes a histone methyltransferase. The encoded enzyme catalyzes the reaction of S-adenosyl-L-methionine and histone L-lysine to produce S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine and histone N(6)-methyl-L-lysine. The encoded protein likely functions in transcriptional repression. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
