SLC30A1 Antibody (PA5-104383) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of SLC30A1 in HeLa cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and SLC30A1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-104383) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

Zinc, an essential element required for cell proliferation and differentiation, plays a role in a diverse array of cellular functions, including acting as a cofactor for numerous enzymes and transcription factors and as a neuroregulator. The zinc transporter (ZnT) family regulates the supply of zinc within cells, and its members are characterized by containing six membrane-spanning domains, a large histidine-rich intracellular loop, and a C-terminal tail. ZnT-1, a ubiquitous protein of approximately 60 kDa, localizes to the plasma membrane to aid in the export of zinc out of cells.
