Perform microwave antigen retrieval with 10 mM Tris/EDTA buffer pH 9.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

SLIT2 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of SLIT2 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with SLIT2 Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-42813) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 3 min.

SLIT2 are ligands for Robo receptors and play a vital role for axonal migration/navigation during neural development. A number of cleavage products through alternate splicing are reported in the literature for SLIT2 proteins. The C-terminal cleavage proteins are more diffusible than the larger N-terminal protein that is more tightly cell associated. SLIT2 protein is expressed in tissues such as fetal lung, kidney, and adult spinal cord.
