Western blot analysis was performed on Tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Brain (Lane 1), Rat Brain (Lane 2) and Whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate)of SH SY5Y (Lane 3), Neuro-2a (Lane 4), IMR32 (Lane 5), U-87 MG (Lane 6), KARPAS 299 (Lane 7) and PC-12 (Lane 8). The blots were probed with Anti-Synaptosomal Associated Protein 25/SNAP25 Recombinant Rabbit Superclonal™ Antibody (Product # 711023, 1-2 µg/mL). SNAP25 is a t-SNARE involved in the molecular regulation of neurotransmitter release. It may play a role in the synaptic function of specific neuronal systems. SNAP25 associates with proteins involved in vesicle docking and membrane fusion. It also regulates plasma membrane recycling through its interaction with CENPF. Mutations in the gene can results in myasthenic syndrome.
