Synaptojanin 2 Antibody (A303-963A-T) in WB
Detection of human Synaptojanin 2 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HEK293T (15 and 50 µg), HeLa (50 µg), and Jurkat (50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Synaptojanin 2 antibody (Product # A303-963A) (lot A303-963A-1) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

The gene is a member of the inositol-polyphosphate 5-phosphatase family. The encoded protein interacts with the ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1, which causes translocation of the encoded protein to the plasma membrane where it inhibits clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
