TRAC-1 Antibody (PA5-142114) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of TRAC-1 in HeLa cells using TRAC-1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-142114). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton, and incubated with the primary antibody for 1hr (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL), showing endoplasmic reticulum/Golgi and some nuclear staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Negative control: Unimmunized goat IgG (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL).

TRAC-1 is a 232 amino acid protein containing an N-terminal RING-type zinc finger domain. It functions as a positive regulator in the T-cell receptor signaling pathway, thus leading to T-cell activation. It mediates ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. TRAC-1 is expressed in lymphoid tissues, including bone marrow, spleen, thymus as well as in other tissues. It is predominantly expressed in the CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells, suggesting that it is preferentially confined to T-cells.
