TROP2 Antibody (PA5-119656) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of of TROP2 in A431 cells (green). Formalin fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 10 minutes at room temperature and blocked with 1% Blocker BSA for 15 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with TROP2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-119656) at a dilution of 1:50 for 1 hour at room temperature, washed with PBS. Alexa Fluor 488 Goat anti-Rabbit IgG was used as the secondary antibody at 1:1,000 dilution. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

TROP2 is a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. This antigen is a member of a family including at least two type I membrane proteins. It transduces an intracellular calcium signal and acts as a cell surface receptor. Mutations of its gene result in gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe corneal amyloidosis leading to blindness.
