Western blot was performed using Anti-EYA1 Rabbit Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 703582 ) and a 64 kDa band corresponding to EYA1 was observed across cell lines tested. EYA1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot was performed using Anti-EYA1 Rabbit Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 703582 ) and a 64 kDa band corresponding to EYA1 was observed across cell lines tested. The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:2000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 1:5000 dilution). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005).

EYA1 Antibody — Antibody specificity was demonstrated by the detection of differential basal expression of the target across breast cancer cell lines owing to their inherent genetic constitution. This gene encodes a member of the eyes absent family of proteins. The encoded protein may play a role in the developing kidney, branchial arches, eye, and ear. Mutations of this gene have been associated with branchiootorenal dysplasia syndrome, branchiootic syndrome, and sporadic cases of congenital cataracts and ocular anterior segment anomalies. A similar protein in mice can act as a transcriptional activator. Four transcript variants encoding three distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
