Approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) GDF-5 and rmGDF-6 is observed and less than 1% cross-reactivity with rmGDF-1, rmGDF-3, rmGDF-8, rmGDF-9, and recombinant human GDF-11 is observed.

Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.

BMPs belong to the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily of secreted signalling molecules that regulate diverse processes in growth, repair and embryonic development. In mouse, this gene functions as an inductive signal from the roof plate required for the specification of neuronal identity in the dorsal spinal cord.
