HCK Antibody (PA5-89892) in WB

Western blot analysis of HCK in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with HCK Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-89892) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 90s.

Hematopoietic cell kinase (HCK) is a SRC-related kinase expressed in lymphoid and hematopoietic cells and may play a role in some forms of leukemia. (HCK Alias: DKFZp686D0638). HCK is a protein-tyrosine kinase that is predominantly expressed in hemopoietic cell types. The encoded protein may help couple the Fc receptor to the activation of the respiratory burst. In addition, it may play a role in neutrophil migration and in the degranulation of neutrophils. Alternate translation initiation site usage, including a non-AUG (CUG) codon, results in the production of two different isoforms, that have different subcellular localization.
