HDAC6 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of HDAC6 in paraffin-embedded human liver. Samples were incubated with HDAC6 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-120113) using a dilution of 1:400 (40x lens). Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

HDAC6 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of HDAC6 in extracts of Rat liver. Samples were incubated with HDAC6 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-120113) using a dilution of 1:500, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 1s.

HDAC6 Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — Immunoprecipitation of HDAC6 in 100 μg extracts of HepG2 cells. Samples were precipitated with 3 μg HDAC6 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-120113). Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using HDAC6 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-120113) at a dilution of 1:1,000.

Responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Histone deacetylation gives a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes. Plays a central role in microtubule-dependent cell motility via deacetylation of tubulin.
