Your product will be marked with the WEEE symbol, a wheelie bin with an X through it. It should be on the rear of the product and it will look like this:
What if I bought my Thermo Scientific product direct from Thermo Fisher Scientific?
Thermo Fisher Scientific is responsible for providing recycling for your product.
What if I bought my Thermo Scientific product from a distributor within the EU?
The distributor is responsible for setting up a recycling program within the EU. Please contract them directly for more information.
What if I bought my Thermo Scientific product from a distributor outside the EU?
In this situation, according to the WEEE, you are responsible for recycling the product. However, Thermo Fisher Scientific will provide recycling information for you per the European Union's Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.
