This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57614. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

This protein may display an antiviral effect against flaviviruses such as west Nile virus (WNV) in the presence of OAS1B. ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters regulate the transport of a variety of physiologic substrates. But this protein lacks transmembrane domains and is probably not involved in transport.
