This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-55017. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

BTBD8, also named as BTB/POZ domain-containing protein 8, is a 378 amino acid protein, which is highly expressed in fetal brain and localizes in the nucleus. BTBD8 exists two isoforms and the molecular weight of isoforms are 43 kDa and 35 kDa.
