This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-62858. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

TWF2 encodes a protein that was identified by its interaction with the catalytic domain of protein kinase C-zeta. The encoded protein contains an actin-binding site and an ATP-binding site. It is most closely related to twinfilin, a conserved actin monomer-binding protein.
