Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (77%), Rat (77%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-56239. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

ALP is found in a variety of tumors but only occasionally in normal tissues. Ovarian cancers are highly positive. ALP is further found in brain tumors, some colonic cancers, some lung cancers, some prostate cancers, uterine cancers, some breast cancers and some thyroid cancers. It was not found in serum.
