This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-67060. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Hmx3 is a transcription factor involved in specification of neuronal cell types and which is required for inner ear and hypothalamus development. This protein binds to the 5'-CAAGTG-3' core sequence. It controls semicircular canal formation in the inner ear and is also required for hypothalamic/pituitary axis of the CNS.
